Artist Statement

My work explores balance, depth, and texture through layered processes of collage, inks, and resin.

Across my series, I develop distinct visual languages, from quiet, immersive fields of blue to structured compositions of color and form, and surfaces shaped by light and reflection. I’m interested in how structure and movement coexist, and how subtle shifts in light reveal new aspects of a piece over time.

My process begins with creating my own collage papers, which form the foundation of each work. From there, I build the surface in layers, allowing elements to be partially concealed and revealed. Resin is applied in the final stages to unify the surface and create depth and luminosity.

Each piece evolves through this balance of control and chance, offering a presence that continues to unfold.
